It’s a frustrating thought that were it not for both Romy Madley Croft and the everpresent disco naivite, I almost certainly wouldn’t have heard this track. CREEP have been going up the ranks, working within the shadows and releasing the occasional remix. But here, they explode upon a bigger scene. The not-particularly-reminiscent-of-the-xx debut 12” ‘Days’, which can be heard above, features the Mercury-award-winning outfit’s female vocalist and it’s dramatic, progressive, everything you could ask for.
