Decks: Ghost Girl
Whether through intention or good luck, Alec Resende has come up with a winning style of production, shining through on ‘Ghost Girl’. It quite simply hooks you in. It’s hard to explain, as Hearing Gold will testify. But in a split-second, this track will drift inexplicably from crashing cymbals and brash guitars to a minimal, analog approach. Without reason or method, brazen and scatter-brained, it somehow retains a charm. Perhaps that’s because above all the experimentation and unexplainable twists and turns, there’s a delightful tune placed right at the very top.
