Elen Never Sleeps: Spinning Wheel

Days like these, where I’m feeling hugely homesick, craving just one weekend back in Brighton, I like to watch this video and I like to imagine the North Laines brimming with people, the pier rides lit up at night and slowly swaying from side to side. It’s not just the name of ‘Spinning Wheel’ that heightens this desire to go back home, it’s the enrapturing guitar lines that have ‘summer’ scrawled all over; the lucidity of the track. It feels alive but at the same time, it calms you and forces through a smile.
