We continue along the Brooklyn track today, shifting uncontrollably from Black Marble’s industrial ‘coldwave’ to territory that’s even more intimidating. Step into ‘Transversal’ and you’re immediately face down on the cold hard concrete, succumbing to the sheer force and darkness of Trust in Love’s sound. Synthetics stalk you, vocals spill out like threats. Don’t be mistaken: The elements of the song might sound like a pretty crossing of Zola Jesus and Still Corners, but ‘Transversal”s intentions are far more sinister.
