Black Marble: On My Head

This is what the tacky UK nightclubs should sound like every night. Instead of manufactured, JLo-endorsed cries of “get down on the floor”, kids should be holding on to the walls for dear life, impulsively tearing their eyes out and dancing like lunatics. This is ‘cold-wave’, apparently. And indeed, ‘On My Head”s evil, pulsating drive gives you shivers. The forthcoming ‘Weight Against the Door’ EP will be a lesson in darkness from Brooklyn’s Black Marble.
