Fun Adults: Til’ Sleep

The local swimming pool today provided the perfect venue in which to panic, flail, wave my arms around and generally give the impression of someone that was drowning. Some small nausea followed, shortly afterwards came the decision that I would never do that again. The only thing on my mind now is sleep, so this new Fun Adults track leapt out at me because of its appealing title. As it happens, the lo-fi, experimental aesthetic is even more pleasing. An extremely fresh-faced, delicate effort from the Leeds group, one that’s made me re-visit their Wild Beasts-esque “teaser” track, ‘Off By Heart’. This lot could emerge as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands. Overexcitement, ahoy!
