Granit: Aresta

I walked out of my house this morning and it was like a scene from a Zombie thriller. The streets were empty, the wind was howling. Bins were scattered all over the roads, some had made pretty heavy contact with parked cars. Perhaps the wind wasn’t the culprit last night. Perhaps, like me, everything was swept away into a flurry by ‘Aresta’, one of 2011’s musical gems. Granit are from Barcelona, their percussion and vocal styles resemble (read: mimick) Beach House, and their only song to date is a work of beauty. Sweeping is the word I’m looking for.
