Some Ember: Deep Ocean

Dylan Travis tends to work within guitar-centered environments, forcing rousing pop songs through a lo-fidelity spectrum. But through his alias Some Ember, he flips his work onto its side, giving it a glossy new sheen. ‘Deep Ocean’, unlike Travis’ work as Man/Miracle, is electronic-based. Packed together with soaring synth lines and a breathtaking vocal performance; it’s in the vein of M83, such is its unrelenting euphoria.
