Sad Souls: Meandering

The word ‘meandering’ is something of an antonym if we’re describing Sad Souls’ music. Like similar sleepyheads - Grouper sticks out as a comparison - he likes to stay on the same path throughout each of his songs, rarely glimpsing away from sumptuous layers of glistening ambience. ‘Meandering’ is yet another example of the Ann Arbor resident’s dreamy work; a fine progression from one of the EPs of the year, in ‘Apeiron’. Quite fittingly, it was recorded between the hours of 3-7am, just two nights ago.
