GRMLN: Relax Yourself (Dolphin Cry)

Though much of my 2011 has been spent basking in some hypnotic, electronic-based glow, my tastes have been crying out for something clean and guitar-based for a little while now. Whilst the new Real Esate record remains the perfect thing to put on after a hard day of work, Santa Cruz’s GRMLN is providing something a little fresher, with similar delivery and style. ‘First Phase’ is a stunning EP as it is but the soothing ‘Relax Yourself (Dolphin Cry)’ is a remarkable step up from most guitar-based songs you come across on bandcamp.
