Recent signees to Memphis Industries, Dutch Uncles are bringing forth their leftfield-pop in the form of new single ‘Fragrant’. There’s some definite nods to (label-mates) Field Music guitar-wise and (non-label-mates) Wild Beasts vocally but the crescendo-heavy chorus has more of an eye on the charts than the aforementioned. It’s an infectious, hook-heavy three-and-a-half minutes, adding more bulk to a thriving Manchester scene.
