Be it the next step towards a stunning debut album, a breakthrough track or an introductory set of songs, or even an interesting promo image or news of signing to a label, this feature will do its best to keep you informed. This Wednesday, you’ll also be able to hear a new MFM Podcast, featuring a few tracks we’ve kept schtum on in the feature below.

One new band to seriously grab our attention is Bournemouth’s AC Slater. LostLostLost have posted about the two ragged and ferocious tracks in their soundcloud. They’ve told MFM that at least a dozen songs are prepped and that the duo are just working out what to do with all of them. Expect either a prolific burst of songs or a slow, teasing month-by-month reveal in response to label interest.

Zulu Winter are becoming a more all-out pop force than we might have predicted when they first emerged with ‘Let’s Move Back To Front’. This new track will be out as a 7” single release on the fantastic Double Denim label, which is a good sign of things to come.

Two Inch Punch, a producer who got everyone talking with the flooring ‘Love You Up’, has finally followed up the track with the somewhat less immediate ‘Up In Your Mix’. It’s a strong track, it a little short of meeting expectations. +++ Up In Your Mix. —- by T.I.P

The Skeleton Dead - a band who we fell in love with and interviewed a while back - have kindly put an entire album up on Bandcamp. It is all things haunting, woozy and strange; wrapped up in soft, comforting vocals.
