‘Journal For Plauge Lovers’ is one of the albums I’ve most been looking forward to when it comes to 2009’s output of music. 
I have to admit that’s probably only because the lyrics of Richey Edwards are being used for the final time on this record. In my opinion the last couple of Manics albums have been fairly poor. But this, even after one listen, takes your breath away.

The lyrics are predictably dark, the music itself is punchy, as a whole piece it’s accessible but moving. I love it.
