New Music: Love Lake - Ghost

We featured Minneapolis’ prodigy Love Lake a couple of weeks ago on Music Fan’s Mic, well he’s back with another indie pop gem. ‘Ghost’ is an upbeat tale which feels like it’s fresh off a sub-pop indie label. A hazy guitars overshadows all, accompanied by Derek Jackson on drums ‘Ghost’ feels a world away from previous effort: ‘Curses’. A good thing - not that ‘Curses’ was in any way bad - it shows diversity from the young man from Minnesota. I said it before and I’ll say it again: By all means Love Lake, keep it coming.
